A Slice of a Golfing Paradise That Belongs to You
If you're a golfer looking for a club to call home, you've probably got a few things in mind:
- You want a club where the scenery is spectacular and the conditions are picture perfect.
- You aim to find a course that will be exciting to play again and again.
- You want to mix and compete with fellow members who love the game of golf as much as they do.
- You want more than golf, though, you want an active social life – dinners, parties, holiday events and more.
All that you're looking for in a country club and more!
At Alta Sierra Country Club we offer you all that and much more. Our picturesque course is a certified Audubon Sanctuary where geese, ducks, deer and other wildlife mingle near our tree studded fairways. You'll be playing in the shade of statuesque sugar pines and majestic black oaks. Stand on our elevated tee boxes and hit a ball that will sail forever. Sparkling ponds will challenge you to take a risk now and then. We're proud of this course and we take good care of it.
There's exciting variety along our fairways and you'll never find two holes here that repeat themselves. In fact, every day you play will be a new and different day.
Our members, and a limited amount of public players, enjoy the course year round in what may be one of the best climates in California – above the fog, heat and dust of the valley and below the snow line in the foothills. We have a full schedule of tournaments -- one of the most active you'll find -- for those who love to test their skills against others. Ask about our guest days, club scrambles, couples events, and championships for men and women. You can even try out your game against our pros.
Of course, as a non-member you can still come and play, but we reserve our best tee times for our members (until the afternoon). If you really want to experience Alta Sierra and make it your home course, you ought to give us a call, take a tour and find out more. We're located in Alta Sierra, just 10 minutes away from historic, downtown, Grass Valley, 20 minutes from Auburn, and Sacramento is less than an hour away.
Our facilities include a swimming pool, pickle ball court, and bocce ball court.
Our spacious 14,000 square-foot Clubhouse with floor to vaulted ceiling windows makes a beautiful setting for delicious American bistro-style cuisine. Our Timbers Bar and Grill is open more often to serve hearty and casual food and beverages. These are great places to entertain your friends, clients and customers.
A complete schedule of members and public special events includes holiday parties, summer concerts, crab feeds and “chef shows,” cuisine prepared in front of you by our very own award-winning chef. It's just like watching the Food Network live.
At Alta Sierra, having a membership, you'll have plenty of chances to meet new friends and form new foursomes.
We have several types of memberships available, including proprietary and business members which are full golf memberships with voting privileges.
We also have non-proprietary memberships that include individual members, young family, social members, non-residents, and junior members.
